Ingredients
Fresh basil leaves (2 cups), gently packed
Garlic cloves (2)
Pine nuts (2 tbsp)
Olive oil (1/4 cup)
Lemon juice (2 tbsp), freshly squeezed
Directions
Pulse the basil, garlic, plus pine nuts using a food processor or blender within about 3 minutes. Drizzle the olive oil into this batter, and pulse until thick paste forms.
Put the lemon juice, and pulse until well blended. Store the pesto in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
