Herbs De Provence

Preparation time:  10 minutes
Servings:  Makes about 1/2 cup (2 tsp = 1 serving)

Ingredients
Dried rosemary (1 tbsp)
Dried thyme ( 1 tbsp)
Dried basil (1 tbsp)
Dried parsley (1 tbsp)
Dried oregano (1 tsp)
Dried tarragon ( tsp)

Instructions
In a small bowl, mix in the rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley, oregano, and tarragon.  Transfer to an air-tight container, and store in a cool, dark place for up to one month.

Cooking Tip:  Herbs de Provence can be rubbed on meats, poultry, and fish before cooking with a little oil to infuse flavour, or it can be added during cooking.  It should always be cooked, however, as the raw spice blend can be overwhelming.
